Yoga Birth Childbirth Education Series

An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, repeating until April 5, 2018
Learn how birth works and how to work with birth in an active, embodied way in this six-week movement and meditation-based childbirth preparation series. Couples combine the mind/body practices of yoga with cutting-edge education on the anatomy and physiology of birth, birth choices, evidence-based practices, decision making strategies, comfort measures and more. Connect with your partner, your baby and your inner wisdom through postures, breath work and guided relaxation and prepare yourselves to create a joyful, empowered birth experience.

Yoga Birth is inclusive, compassionate, non-judgmental birth preparation that celebrates all modes of birth and promotes kindness, respect, support and empowerment of the family. The skills you learn in this class are life skills based in wisdom traditions that will serve you well beyond the birthing room and impact every area of your life.
